Ok, I've sacrificed some precious MBs (and $) to upload these to make it up to you all for not updating.
On the 10th April, Lyon and I hop on the 7am Murray bus to Sydney.
Canberra fogged out at 6.40 plus...
Since I have been to Sydney twice, we sort of screwed the whole tourist, sight seeing extravaganza... instead, went shopping right after reaching! woohoo! talk about efficiency! First, we were greeted by the wonderful Ng family. After that, we dropped our luggage at their place and headed straight to Parramatta, which is known for their tall buildings and Westfield shopping mall. Lolx. Went all the way to Sydney to go to another Westfield...

The sisters! Ying Xin and Ying Yee.

Asian Groceries Store... Then Ying Yee wanted to buy her very own Nintendo DS so we went to EB to find one...
haha! Anxiously waiting to get her hands on her new toy... After that, we went to the famous Max Brenner Chocolate shop...
yumm! Parramatta Train Station...We decided to go to the Sydney Easter Show the day after...To be continued... |

Hello people! Omgosh, I felt so touched when some of my peeps still read my deserted blog and ask me to keep it up. =D
Thanks and I will try to update more often alright? =D
Ok, this is going to be a massive blog, because lots of pictures will be uploaded.
First up, MSO Picnic Day!
(I finally grabbed all the nicey pictures from Eu Gene. Tee Hee!)
A bunch of first years volunteered to cook for the picnic. So we were in charge of Sambal, so basically dealing with onions, garlic and red hot chilli! Talk about torture. We teared, washed, screamed in pain.
Not that dramatic but quite similar to those lines.
June had eye infection due to the spicyness of the chilli, I had to change contact lenses due to the onions, Wei Ling cried a whole lot, and Lyon's face was burning.
All that torment for beautiful sambal...

A close up for you to salivate... Almighty SAMBAL~! Look at our anticipating faces...
After hard labour...

At 2 am in the morning.... =S
Then it was the event itself! =D
Hungry faces... Then it was the newspaper game, so naturally Lyon and I paired up. We thought we had the absolute advantage at winning the game, because we are dance partners of course.... However, we went out first.... (pai seh)
Me and Theng Shan!!! (aka Shawn. ) Me, Edmund and Eu Gene. Tis my favourite pic. So cute! Tug of WARR!!
And of course, discussing about Malam Kenduri, which is tentatively happening on the 12th May.
Later, coffee as a treat by Eu Gene for suffering in the sambal making process..

My cake. nutty. and the gang. =D thirdly, did i mention I've got a tattoo? hahaha! courtesy of the Youth Week, I've got a one week old butterfly tattoo for free! YAY! Evil Emil!!! Close up!! sorrylah, a bit shiok sendiri... |

| Happy Easter! |
First of all, happy Easter people!
Easter here is fabulous, cheap chocolates and 2 weeks holidays. What's a girl like me to complain? =D
This morning, I was invited by Shawn to attend a special Easter service at the Christian Life Centre, a church located behind Bruce Hall. It was an eye-opening experience indeed, because it has been a long time since I last visited a church, and also attend sunday services. I got emotional, noneoftheless. But it was spiritual and enlightening, so I was glad it turn out pretty well.
Later on, we went to Dickson! Chinatown for the first time! Funny thing, Chinatown does not look at Chinatown at all. Ok, on harsh terms, it was pathetic. Really. But the food we ate was superb. Some chinese shop which serves good food. Spent Aud9.70 but damn worth it.
That's all for now. Pictures will of course be posted up later, tomorrow I'll be having BBQ with friends so I can't wait! |

Counterparts from Australia will rejoice, but I am so sorry people from Malaysia. oh well, at least I finally can come online and talk to you guys! I need to get my social interation skills up on par after weeks of solitary life.
Mid semester was...in my words...stupid...not because it was easy or difficult, it was because I stoned, in a way. Went clueless during the exams, oh well...its over...
Tee-hee!
Sorry larh. A bit useless entry.

Another two more papers, then it is Easter Holidays!! for 3 weeks! YAY!!!!! Finally I get to rejoice while my Malaysian counterparts work their asses off. XD Mooseheads awaits US!!!!! gosh. time passes so quickly nowadays. Especially with Canberra, the night's becoming longer, the wind stronger, and I become hungrier. every possible hour is a good hour for snacking. might have developing unpleasant sights of love handles. URGH!!!! FAT FAT FAT! this girl's gotta pig out during exam to overcome boredom... resolution? Walk and dance more... of course a project which consist of a dance performance for Malaysian Students Organization will keep those nasty fats away... and when I do, I'll post the performance up ASAP. till then, it's basically confinement in Canberra.
