| Sem 2 Results |
Oo! Results. Lol.
Guess who got credit for stat2001. Me me me! You'd think its a bad thing for an overobsessive, perfectionist like yours truly, think again. I'm happy~! Well for the effort I've put in, I can truly say I deserve a credit. Lol. And I'm on the road in getting an exemption for Part 1 requirement of Actuarial Studies! =D
finm2002 and econ1102 I got high distinction, however for stewpid (inspired by Gene) finm2001 I got 78! Omg!! 2 marks to HD.
Well at least econ1102 was wayyyy better than what I expected, given that I lost 6.5% for a 20% assessment, which is contributed from tutorial quizzes. so wee~!!!
As usual, Lyon aced his exams (HD's for 3 of his subjects) and got a distinction for stat2001. fine. but he has to get 93 for econ1102! im like dot dot dot!
I know I'm being a bit paranoid. But he is my biggest competition after all.
Ah well, work harder (again) next year.
Though probably this will be one of best results I'll ever get since my schedule will be packed for next year. Eekkk! |

| Lyon's Farewell |
Lyon's on the way back to Miri now. And possibly have arrived at this very moment. My parents were lovely enough to fetch him to the airport and I tagged along as well.

This is called nothing to do in the car so camwhore session... and yes the last pic before we meet again, possibly a month later I'm going to miss you, but I await for the day when we are physically together again. Shopping and laughing. Till then, you are with me spiritually, always. Love.

Hey guys. Haha!
First look at my blog you'd think I'm a bisexual/female pervert. Lol. But the truth is I feel that this picture spells independence, girls/women can have fun without boys/men. This fun can be translated through dance and sports which I am extremely interested in. So take a good laugh at yourselves if you think otherwise.
... A shoutout to Latha and Chua who are having their birthdays today!! Have fun! =)
And I'm still pondering whether to go Chua's party @ Mardigras tonight in my hideous (red-eyed) condition. Don't wanna be a party pooper. *shy*

| Beau Shows Part 2 |
Grey's Anatomy = I'm sure most of you watched this, so I am going to save it. However, I too notice Malaysian TV ain't showing the latest season, which concentrates more on the love-hate sisterhood between Meredith and Lexie Grey, the on-off relationship between Meredith and Derek, the reunion between George and Lizzie (yeap, they love each other and Callie allows them to, but sex was an issue lol) and how Christina copes with the 'shocking departure' of Burke to another hospital (well you know he was not rehired for season 4 right?).
US is currently showing Season 4 and Episode 8.
Private Practice = A spin-off from Grey's Anatomy, PP stars Addison Montgomery, joining the crew of private practitioners at the Oceanside Wellness Center, Santa Monica. Very Grey's Anatomy but more personalized in one sense. Still fun to watch.
Desperate Housewives = Too much to be written as usual, but one thing I have to say though; I feel it is getting a bit overrun. Is it possible to get tired of suspense? Nevertheless, I still want to know what happened inside the new neighbour's home (I forgot their names already, dang!)
Predictions = I think the father of the neighbour tried to rape/kill the daughter years ago.
Two and a Half Men = Currently in it's 4th Season, the comedy Two and a Half Men spells the life of two adult brothers, Charlie Harper being the bachelor and sex, booze and women are his kind of game. Wherelse, Alan has a son named Jake (so adorable!!) and he got divorced, and he had no place to go. So he turned to his elder brother and Charlie's lifestyle is interrupted. Side characters who contribute much to the show are their mom Evelyn, the maid Berta (she's so funny) and Alan's ex wife Judith. The show mainly revolves around the happenings in the house and outside the house with funny antics to entertain you along the way.
The Big Bang Theory = From the creators of Two and a Half Men, this is a comedic tale of two nerds, Sheldon and Leonard living together in a pretty run down apartment, where the lift is not working and never fixed. Then suddenly this pretty blond girl named Penny moved in the opposite apartment and Leonard has a crush on her ever since. This is a classic story about nerd boy trying to impress cute girl, and sometimes can be pretty dumbfounded. To portray the character of a nerd is pretty tough because you must have knowledge (which blows your mind) ready at your fingertips, which is why I salute the actors.
Well that is it for today, tomorrow Women's Murder Club and Big Shots will be reviewed. |

| Beau Shows |
Hey people.
Must be wondering how I spent those lonely days in Canberra. Haha. One thing's for sure, TV shows keep me occupied most of the time.
So this entry is a special tribute to all that I have watched, and still watching.
Heroes = L.O.V.E this show. For those who haven't a clue about Heroes, kick yourself in the nuts because you are missing out on something fabulous. Currently US is airing season 2 and episode 9 and I have watched up to season 2 and episode 8. I notice that Malaysia TV is not airing Season 2 until Dec or next year so if anyone wants to be ahead, pm me and I might just be nice enough to give them to you. =)
Predictions: Courtesy of Lyon, he believes that Suresh is going to kill Noah Bennett, kidnap Claire, attempt to develop a cure for the Shanti virus but Peter and Adam get to the virus as well and modify it to kill Claire and the non-powered population as well. Lyon also believes Adam and Hiro will square off again and that somehow Adam actually wants to die.
Gossip Girl = The stereotypical but oh so delicious chick flick. Adapted from the ever famous Gossip Girl teenage book, this series spins off as THE tale of love-hate drama of 2007 and juicy lifestyle of the teenage upperclass, and spreads of beau things all over. I mean, every girl would definitely be drawn into the show. Nate Archibald is soooo adorable! ^^ Goodies for the guys too since Serena Van Der Woodsen is so chio. Jealous sia.

And the amazing clothes! My gosh.

The dress that Serena wore on her 1st date with Dan.
Check out these sites for more of the amazing array of clothes.

Review: Omgosh!! Blair with Chuck. Ewwww! Bad rebound from a broken relationship. And Serena, she is a doll. I lub her. =) Not much prediction since I'm drawn in mainly by the clothes anyway.
The Hills is soooo last season. Gossip Girl is here to stay Dirty Sexy Money = Similar concept to Gossip Girl, but revolves a monopoly of New York by the family of Darling, and one 'normal' lawyer managing practically their lives. The Darling family is the most notable in New York with their high (and rich) reputations, however the show opens up to the various skeletons hidden in their closet. Tripp Darling is the head of the family, Tish being his wife but she had an affair with the Dutch, who is the father of the lawyer named Nick George. The Dutch has worked with the Darling family for over 30 years and it was noted that one of the Darling children is Dutch's. Ooo! Exciting isn't it? Dutch was killed in an airplane accident and Nick is quite convinced that he was murdered. By who you might ask. We do not know yet either. Also, there is a rivalry between Tripp Darling and a guy named Simon Alder. And each party tries to persuade Nick into believing that either one of them is involved in the death of his father. The eldest children is Patrick Darling, the principal politician, who is involved in an affair with a transexual. Involvement in politics is not on his free will, but of persuasion by Tripp, aiming to expand the family name. Karen has 3 ex-husbands and one boyfriend, but we know she always had a thing for Nick. Brian the man of God, but has a boy out of marriage. The twins, being Jeremy and Juliette, are rich brats practically, who party and spend $$ and be the dumb rich people they are. However, the plot has developed such that Jeremy is working hard to prove himself worthy in the eyes of Tripp. Reviews: Currently US is showing season 1 episode 8. Karen had just married to her 4th husband then 45 minutes later annulled her marriage. She confirmed that she wants Nick, who has a wife and daughter. Other than that, there is too much detail to be able to put down in such a short time. So do watch!
Predictions: I think that Brian is Dutch's child with Tish. And Simon Alter killed Dutch. Just my two cents.
Other shows such as Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men and Big Shots will be reviewed as soon as possible.
Till then, happy watching! |

| Conjunctivitis!!!!! NOOO~~~!! |
Dear all,
These few days, do stay away from me. Really. Cuz I have bloody conjunctivitis and looked like a buried red eyed monster coming to life.
So I can't even leave home because sweet me do not wanna spread this airborne 'disease' to the whole world and make people hate me.
Hopefully it will recover soon enough (doc said it takes 2-3days), because I wanna rediscover the city and meet people. Definitely not in this condition though.
ahhh, those beau eyes... ^^ Did I mention I update my Facebook alot? So for more pictures do visit...
http://anuedu.facebook.com/profile.php?id=774845435
if you are a Facebook-er.
And as for Friendster hooks, do apologise for my relatively dead Friendster page, because I found out that checking Facebook takes less internet MBs than Friendster i.e less $$ out of my pocket while I'm in Australia.
So a little switching camp from Facebook to Friendster nowadays.
More so, who is NOT addicted to Facebook anyway?!?!?!??! It takes little to give in to the almighty power of Facebook, but if you do withhold those sort of temptations well, I salute you. |

| I'm back. Bigger but better. =) |
Hey guys,
After 9 months at the ANU, I'm finally back. Bigger but better. Literally. Arrived at the KLIA approximately 11.35pm local time. It could have been earlier and sweeter if it weren't for the power failure in the Sydney Airport. But bottom line is, I'm back. And homesickness is cured, at least for 3 more months.
Of course, one of the few things I am able to do in this 3 months (before I head back to Canberra to do my 2nd year in Bachelor of Actuarial Studies) is to blog, to revive this deserted blog. Lol. I will try to get my groove back, and let my creativity flow and ultimately be not boring. Lol.
Many of you might think I have disappeared for a while, possibly got kidnapped by the charms and challenges from the ANU. I never update my blog, gone to MSN (seriously). But what I do take concern now is to update Facebook and checking emails. I have this sudden addiction of opening my mails to check Facebook notifications, the worse having to check every minute, literally. That's how 'boring' Canberra is, that people have to make their own fun, to entertain themselves out of their academic life.
I don't think so however, that Canberra is boring. I think the people there makes it much more interesting and fun altogether. Of course, your involvement in the university activities is essential and it is fulfilling at the same time.
I have met some of the most wonderful people, most drunkest people, most layback people and most determined people at the ANU. People with different culture and creed contributed to the diversify of the ANU, and everyone is equally warm and friendly. I have had a very wonderful time at the ANU and I am definitely looking forward to going back there to study. In all, my decision to drop Melbourne was definitely worth it.
I have had many milestones in these 9 months. I am now a committee member for the Malaysian Students Organization and we take charge in preparing the most delicious and yearned Malaysian food to our Malaysian community, at the same time, provide a space for all Malaysians and non Malaysians to mingle in a healthy way. Also, I had my first election run, where I had to campaign for three straights days and in all, 12 hours. It was such an amazing ride and the people who were in the same team, Mosaic were so supportive and motivated. I absolutely love to work with such people with a high drive. The end result was fruitful. I got the General Officer post in the International Students Department for year 2007/2008. Yay! It was a amazing feeling of being chosen to represent and protect the welfare of all 3k plus international students at the ANU. We are in the position to make a difference for the benefit of all international students at the ANU.
Other than that, a few girlfriends and I have been involved in performing for various clubs and events. From traditional Malay and Indian dance at Malam Kenduri and also fan dance for Merdeka Night, to Sexyback at SSA night. We were invited by various clubs to perform which is a huge honour and privilege.
The things I personally do in Canberra however is.
1. Texas Hold'em Poker 2. Clubbing 3. DC ++ (this network between ANU students allows us to download all the recent shows and music in a fast speed) 4. Baking 5. Sightseeing 6. Organizing Birthday Parties 7. Shopping! ($5 per garment!)
And of course studying is main priority. =)
In all, my first year experience has been a blast. I know next year there will be more in store, coupled with my involvement in the MSO and ISD, I will probably be more occupied than I was in the first year. However, I am so looking forward to more excitement and challenges and make my university life much more fulfilling and memorable. |
