| Paddington House of Pancakes! |
Despite the heavy storms that strucked Kuala Lumpur had woken me up several times at the wee hours of the morning, I was able to wake up at 10am. Without a headache!!
Woohoo~ An achievement! ^^
We decided to go to Mid Valley to try the famous Paddington House of Pancakes and do some long awaited paktou-ing. ;P

Guess who's finally driving! (but kena hon like nobody's business XD)

Then we arrived at our destination, PHOP for short.

Almighty isn't it? =P
The menu is frigging extensive that we did not know what to choose. Mata Kabur liao. @.@

At the end of it all, both of us ordered different versions of pannekoek, which is a 12 inch thin Dutch pancake.

Consists of pan friend dory fish with crushed tomotoes dressing, mashed potatoes, some cherry tomatoes and salad wrapped in pannakoek to be dipped into the mayo sauce.
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS I TELL YOU!!
The pannakoek was fluffy and light, the type of pancakes I like so I won't feel jilat.

His Oslo
Smoked salmon dipped in Wasabi Mayo sauce (which is da BOMB!), pannakoek with tomatoes as base sauce, a generous sprinkle of olives and cherry tomatoes to top it all off.
I love the fact that the portions are very generous and that every bite seems so tantalizing and sweet. You will NEVER ever feel sick of eating the same taste all over again! Lyon agrees with me too!
Well, price wise is pretty, you know, up there. But it is all worth it because PHOP had just opened in Mid Valley and for $50 and over spent on a subtotal single receipt one will get a free PHOP specialty dessert! Promotion lasts TODAY~! So we were VERY lucky. =)

Verdict: Sooooo much better than Australia's Pancake Parlour. Price wise too, since everything is divided by 3...
SO PEOPLE! IF YOU HAVE SAVINGS TO SPRULGE, instead of heading to Chilli's or TGIF, give PHOP a try. It WILL be worth it. =) . . . .
Quickie! I did NOT get UniLodge room 2502 because UniLodge screwed me over, although JUST ONE WEEK AGO they said I am ALBE to confirm 2502. And I bet alot of current residents too. At the end of the day, Lyon and I are taking the twins sharing room 351 (which we don't mind since it's cheaper rent). So for those who were 'promised' that they would be given a room, please double check with them and see alright before it's too late?

| My Biggest Purchase |

Mom took Lyon and I to this place called 6 to 10 Grill and Nasi Lemak Restaurant (such a unique/long name) for lunch. At first sight, the place looked a wee bit dodgy because it was situated at the ground floor of housing flats.

But yet again, don't judge a book by its cover. Appearances are deceiving because the beautiful thing about the place is its airy setting and the authentic original taste of western and eastery culinary it holds. Price wise is very reasonable too~!

This Star article was published in year 2004. There read 17 years in business for the restaurant. Since math is my *ehem* forte, as quick as lighting I deduced that this restaurant have been operating since 1987!

After that wonderful lunch, I went shopping for CNY and also stuffs to be brought back to Canberra. Now the moment you have tolerated for. My biggest purchase at the end of the day was... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Household plates and bows! They are either Corelle (the square plates) or Melamine so they are light, and best of all, chip and break resistant!!! So yes people, I would have fine dining in Canberra alright! My little pleasures of life... *winks* (I pressume my Canberran friends would have this face after reading this...) =.='' but I know you're just jealous!! just kid. =P |

| Sweeney Todd Rox! |
Hey darlings! I have already uploaded Malacca pictures on Facebook, however Malacca entry will be written once I am available to sit in front of the computer for more than 2 hours. Lol. Well maybe tonight then. =)
One thought I do like to convey though, is to review on the movie ''Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street''. I watched this movie while I was in Malacca.
Lyon remarked that this was adapted from a real life musical, however, for me it was the first time I have heard this story and I am completely drawn into it. I took Literature subject for SPM so I do have a lot interest in the literature part of a movie, and for this movie my literature senses were tingled at every chance. Every scene.
The simplest synopsis (without spoiling the movie for you) I can think of goes like this: In the dark age of London, there was this barber called Benjamin Barker (Johnny Depp rox my sox) has a beautiful wife, and a baby daughter. However, there exists this Judge Turpin (played by the guy who played Snape in Harry Potter, brilliant cast) who was captivated by the wife's beauty that he wants to own her. So he exploits his powers to send Benjamin to exile and keep the wife for himself. Fast forward to 15 years later, Benjamin escapes out of prison, changed his name to Sweeney Todd, and hopes to seek revenge on those who have wronged, and also find his loved ones.
Well above contains every inch of simplicity. Don't be deceived by this fake portrayal of purity though. This movie is far far too dark, too twisted. From the get go, you get chills down your spine. Blood runs thick and runs everywhere. To be honest, I am not a fan or horror/thriller/bloody movies. However, this film is something special. First of all, it is a dark musical only apt to the directed by the wicked sick (I meant this in a good way) Tim Burton. His ability to include all possible vices in the world in 2 hours of film time is of abundance. Murder, rape, cannibalism, greed, lust, anger, deceit, exploitation of one's powers, hatred... Am I revealing too much? ;P
The literature it possesses is rich yet playful. Mrs. Lovett, Sweeney's partner-in-vengeance has made a comment: ''You get my drift?'' Well you would never imagine the Londoners of that century to include that modern day slang in their everyday conversations would you? Like I said, subtly playful. Rich. Amazing. Spectacular.
The cinematic part of the movie takes you on a journey, away from your cinema seat. The setting is a far cry to the one I watched for In the Name of King. The stark contrast is evident that the suckyness of aforementioned film is painfully obvious and puts Sweeney Todd into a high stratosphere of setting glory. The cast picked to perfection. The ending, WOW! Enough said.
Johnny Depp is worthy of an Oscar for his performance. His ability of capturing the essence of every moment deserves some credit.
Overall, the movie earns my standing ovation.
So darlings (who are 18+)! Treat yourself, get a GSC TGV or whatever ticket and watch this show!!
For those who are below the age of 18 however, do not fret, go get yourself an illegal VCD/DVD. Lol... |

| Back In KL, Safe and Sound. |
I'm super super psyched that I am S.A.F.E. The stars were aligned and I feel very fortunate to be right here in one piece. Why? You may ask. Well, haven't you looked at the newspapers lately? 3 bus accidents in few weeks! Some involving DEATHS. Zomg!
On a side note, rest in peace dear Miss Lee Nian Ning. The Penangnite was a straight A's student who was persuing a medical profession in UNSW, Australia, and she was on her way to visit friends in Kuala Lumpur. Sadly her life was robbed just by a snap of the fingers when the bus driver lost control of the bus and slammed into a divider.

At this time of mourning, I do not want to seem selfish or anything. But, I strongly felt that it could have happened to me! I mean we were so alike, having a bright future ahead of us, studying overseas and pursuing difficult degrees, riding the public bus to visit friends... It could have happened in a flash.
So dear all, every choice you make in life has a reasoning. However, I believe that you cannot cheat fate. When the lighting that is fate strucks, all is lost.
So appreciate life as it is. Life's too short for the all the whining and grumbling. I need to tell myself just that.

Updated: I wish I had knew her. I checked out her Facebook profile, and a special group in loving memory of her. We have quite a lot of mutual friends, I regret not having to know such an amazing girl as described by her friends.
And I change my words. She and I are not alike, she has sooo much more to offer to this world. It is tragic really. My heart goes to her family and her lovely friends. Cherish those memories you have with her forever. She will be remembered. |

| Another Three Day Hiatus |
Yes people!
Unfortunately for you (and me), my writing addiction has to be put on a three-day hold because I am going to visit Eu Gene in Malacca!
Tomorrow (27th January) is his 22nd birthday!! So in case you did not know, you pandai pandai wish him la okay? =P
Later at noon, I would be fetching Lyon from LCCT, then we would head to Malacca few hours later! Woohoo~! More reasons to celebrate.
(Ooo! By the way, Sarah asked me out for a clubbing session yesterday night, but I skipped it because I would have to sleepover at her house, would have had a massive headache today trying to pack and keep track of time, making sure I don't miss the bus. LOL. So sorry darling! I missed two out of two so far already!!)
''This is seriously screwed up'', as Edmond would have called this situation. LOL. I was informed that Lyon's mom did NOT know that Lyon was going to Kuala Lumpur/Malacca. She had no idea. I'm like WTH? I wonder what would be her reaction when she finds out that her son is all the way across the South China Sea.
Can imagine a phone conversation that goes like this:
..................................................................................................... Auntie: ''Lyon, are you coming back for dinner tonight?'' Lyon: ''No, I will be eating dinner at Malacca...''
Auntie: (silence) ''Don't play with me Lyon.'' Lyon: ''I'm SERIOUS!''

| Girls' Day Out! |
I love organizing girls' day out. Call me feminist but I believe hanging out with a bunch of girls come with a whole lot of f.r.e.e.d.o.m. To speak whatever, and NOT be too obsessed with being proper. Haha!
A girls' day out would be bountiful of four things.
1. Loads of camwhoring/pictures. 2 Gossip. 3. Shopping. 4. Letting-yourself-go-crazy-ass FUN!
I'll prove to ya what I mean. =)
I invited Amanda, Michelle, Melissa, Kimberley, Caleen and Hazel for a nice guy-LESS outing at One Utama. However, Hazel had to work and Caleen had prior engagement so they couldn't make it. Nevertheless, day out was the BOMB! For so many reasons. =)
I thought I try editing the photos to make them more 'interesting'. LOL. Don't worry, I have the originals. Grab from me anytime yeah babes =)
 I was the organizer, yet I was LATE! For 45 minutes!!! >< My mom was tied up in a longer-than-expected appointment and I did not have a car. Apologies again ladies!

When he came to say hi, the persistent person that is me SHOO-ED him away. No boy influence for today I preached!!! =P Temporary female chauvinism. Muahaha!
 Haha a picture to last. =) After lunch, it was SHOPPING TIME! Loved it when all 5 of us raided the shops, occupied most fitting rooms and filled the empty space with our incessant gossips and laughter. =)
 The LBD aka Little Black Dress. EVERY GIRL SHOULD OWN ONE. Looks nice right? =) I'll consider getting it some other time. Camwhoring! @ Vincci. LOL. Typical.
 They are my newest camwhore partners in crime. =) After some (window) shopping, we were off to Neway. I think we were so spoiled by Redbox's music selection, that when we arrived at Neway, shit lah we thought! The English music available frigging antique already! Amanda was complaining: ''NO RIHANNA!''
Neway has a much larger Chinese song selections though. But most of us are appreciators of English hits. =(
At the end, we belted out not-so-current songs from M2M, Bon Jovi etc...
 My future sister in law. =)  Muah!  The BFF's.  Sigh, cacatness. (I kind of lost the perseverance to edit the pictures with effects already hor in case you noticed. HAHA! Short span.)
 Jay Chou's Chai Hong being played and sung!  Amanda and Mel. Mel, I didn't take a photo with you lah!! You owe me 100 clubbing photos in Canberra to be put on Facebook! Hmmph!! =P
 This was how we jammed yo!  Omgosh Michelle's big beautiful purple eyes~! So envious. >< Around 5pm plus, Kimby had to leave. =( So 4 of us continued losing our voices. LOL.
The highlight of the day has got to be the part where Lady Marmalade was played. Mel got high, then infected me, then soon after Amanda was influenced too.
You know what we did?!??!?
We stood ON the couches and did a little sexay dance, using the walls bla bla bla. Haha! We dancers, reliving the times we had when we brought sexy back during SSA Night. At least we had the decency to take off our shoes first. =P
AND! luckily, the glass on the door is tinted therefore the outside world could not really see us 'performing'. Well, even if they could, I'm sure we were too high to even bother. Wakakaka!
I did check the couches after that kay? They were still purrrfectly fine. =) We finished karaoke-ing at 7pm, with our vocal chords feeling so soar.
(Small talk, I met up with my junior Liyana. All grown up and pretty already lor! =D)

| First Impressions and Perceptions |
I find first impressions deceiving to the eye. How can you tell whether someone is genuine at heart or upbeat just by the first glance? I believe that first impressions are akin to invisible tinted glass that everyone has to break through to see the brighter side of things in a certain someone.
I spoke to a friend, Gladys and she asked what was the first impression of her. I said, frankly, she was shy, but after 6 months of knowing her I believe that she is such a friendly and confident person, comfortable with her own skin. Heck, she even shaved her head!!!!! I lub you girl you're so cool~ (And you owe me a picture with you and I owe you potluck dinner) =)
I would NEVER shave my hair off in a MILLION YEARS. Well, that's what I thought Britney Spears would think about herself, look at her now. @.@

Now I would like to stress upon perceptions. Hehe. But FIRST!!! In mathematical form. First Impressions is the subset of Perceptions.
 You dig? LOL! All that high school mathematic education DID NOT go to waste.
A good example: I am assigned to write an article for ISD's newletter, Nexus by Eli. Her email states this:
''Winnie, you'll love writing this: Nightlife in Canberra.''
Lol. Do people really perceive that I'm the type who clubs a lot? Because I swear, I sure as hell don't. (I'm not dissing you Eli, or anything, just taking a reference to support my point, please don't be offended =P) Lyon defended saying I'm a upbeat girl who loves to party. Pretty true. Or likes to have fun, so naturally be put into that category. Pretty reasonable too.
And also, the perception "aunties" (including my mom) have that bad girls go to clubs. The perception of the general public that going to clubs means you're 'happening' . I need to break that. Because going to clubs does NOT put you on a badder or higher 'status' than anyone else, I believe.
I love hitting the clubs because I genuinely love to dance! I mean, people would accurately remember me for my passion for performing, whether on stage or at the dance floor. The clubs are the only place that provides a good space and good loud music. So i just had to hit the clubs to satisfy my dancing needs. LOL.
I sound like I was forced to go to clubs just like when you were younger, you were forced to eat vegetables. Weirdly though, unlike other kids, I opened my mouth wider whenever someone spooned me (sounds wrong) some vegetables, because I honestly love them.
WEIRDO!
Sorry people. Just a random ranting session if you don't mind. Was inspired by messages I got from friends. =)
One more question before I leave you alone. Do I look like someone you know by any chance? Because MANY people have come up to me and say: ''Hey you look like this person, you look like that person etc...''

| Rants |
Hello dearest! =)
Today was a pretty productive day for me, in terms of quantity of time spent on doing just about anything I suppose. Cleaned the house, washed the unwashed clothings and went to gym...
Gym proves its fruitfulness. I lost 2.5kg thus far, in the midst of all the festive i.e 3 month holiday eating!!!!!
=) =) =) =)
I give myself a grade A for hardwork and effort.

Ooo! Did I mention I have been filling the gaps by watching this absolute addicting MTV production called 'A Shot Of Love With Tila Tequila'? I first came across this name by reading Xiaxue's blog few weeks ago, never thought I would stumble upon it again.

Anyway, it's frigging addictive lahh! You may think that this show is a sob effort, spin off of other (lame and surreal) searching-for-love reality series (see The Bachelor)...
Well you think right actually. The show's pretty vain and shows off half-naked people hooking up etc...
But anyway that's not the point here.
The twist is that the bachelorette Tila Tequila, who happens to the Myspace queen in case you are unaware, is BISEXUAL! So we are witnessing 16 guys AND! 16 girls battling out for so-called LOVE.

Such powerful word. However, I feel that this show has tarnished the innocent image of love here, every essence of love being squished by the incessant bimbotic rants and fights. I'm being judgemental here. Lala~~
The show has ended its run in America. Newsflash! Apparently Tila and her suitor broke up shortly!!!! My intrigued side has come to know the actual story, being that they did not continue their lovey-dovey ways off camera, on Tila's initiative. O.o
Publicity stint? If I'm right, there would be a second reason in the line up by now...
Nevertheless, shallow shows like this are pretty entertaining lor. Haha! =) So if you ever have a chores-less, boring day, divert your attention and check this series out. *Click! |

| Insomniac, Shopaholic, well, Kinda. |
Guys and babes ah, I believe I have a slight inclination to insomnia!! =((( I went to bed around 1am, tossed and turned, with thoughts whirling my head, and only able to fall asleep 2-3 hours later. This weird phenomena has been happening for 3 days straight! Sheesshhh!
O.o
Today morning I woke up feeling so groggy lahh! This has got to stop I pondered.
 zombie-fied.
Then my sister suddenly had the answer to my prayers, from the oddest place I reckon. She started reading this little section from the Star, with her proud voice, she enlightened:
Using a mobile phone before going to bed can damage your health, according to a major study. It claims that radiation from the handset can cause insomnia and headaches as well as cutting the time spent in deep sleep.
OOH OOH!! NOW I SEE! Lyon I think we better not talking on the phone so late lah like that.
Anyway, after a 3 day socializing hiatus, I broke my gym routine to go SHOPPING with dear mummy! I gave up a badminton session with Amanda and gang too. Sorry lah guys, next time kayy? Shopping with mummy is rare opportunity. =P
First we had to fill our energy tanks with lunch right? Can't shop (long) with an empty stomach, I'm sure I speak for most girls. =)
There is an unspoken trend I noticed. My family would outmaneuvered the millennium falcon and head over this Teppanyaki shop EVERYTIME we shop at Mid Valley.

The thing is I never REALLY love that place, due to their unhealthy practices of spreading heaps of oil/pepper/bubuh-like substances, which I am always fortunate to witness! But I always think that pile of Tau Gei would compensate my heart a bit. Carcinogen neutral. =)
After lunch, FINALLY I had the chance to explore the new (well, not THAT new) The Gardens.

I don't know whether this is a design element, or a cut cost procedure...
 The lovely prints behind the escalators really amazed me. 
I love the fact that The Gardens is true to its name. Zen-influenced and heartfelt designs were plentiful, eliminating all boundaries by putting art in nature and art in luxury items on the same page.  Haha me looking a bit gonggong. =)  Mummy looking at the beautiful shoes on display.
The dress Serena wore in Gossip Girl (I think) So chio!
But did not DARE to try it. I think I'll faint standing once I look at the price tag.
Went to Robinson's for some (window) shopping and to revive my non existent modelling career!



I bought NONE. Frankly not willing to fork out $$ to get them. At Isetan, my shopping efforts bore fruit, blossomed into the beauty that is (me).
Muahhahaha!!
(Lyon created one that line. I swear! =P)
I bought 3 items and I'm so ready for CNY. =P
Okay main attraction of the day, even bigger than the countless clothes I've tried, bigger than the clothes I've purchased, bigger than my own room!

Omgosh, the mirrors looked heavenly. Was thinking of stealing one to be brought back to (mirror-less) UniLodge...
VainPOT!
Sorry lah if you think I'm weird for being so hyped up about freshly fragrant toilets and big spaced cubicles. I think it is pretty darn hard to find a nice public toilet in Malaysia lor! Especially with the mirrors. Ohhh, I'm so spoiled by them.

WOOHOO! I'm so in the mood now!
Just found out that UniLodge did reserve a place for me (and Lyon), we would be retaining our rooms. Same address same phone number! =D
BEST PART IS for current students, they are offering us 48 weeks contract, but charging us 52 week contract rates. Cheaper rates!!!!!

HAVING A DILEMMA OF A 1ST YEAR NOW.
Dear Winnie, Unfortunately at this late stage all UniLodge apartments are either reserved, or have been offered out to new applicants. These offers will have lapsed by next Tuesday, 29th of January. It seems like no one's reading what I have to say lately. Haha! Well, my creative juices aren't as flowy as before, so I understand completely.
Maybe it is a good thing because I have less reasons to update in Canberra, since UniLodge are bloody money suckers and would most probably SO NOT surprise us by increasing the internet charges, then have a comeback saying that the internet speed is wayyyy faster.
However, if UniLodge somehow stumbles upon this piece of crap of mine, lol, do conform to peer pressure and reduce our internet charges to Aud$2.5 cents per MB? Pweety pwetty please???? *doggy eyes*
Got to go now. Groceries shopping. Woohoo! I guess it's good practice all over again. Tata! |

I just cannot believe that he actually went ahead to ask Uncle Cheu about his unreasonable request to come to Kuala Lumpur this Saturday, when just 3 days ago, he just left here!
Nevertheless, I am soooooo happy! I feel like crying of joy. I miss you Lyon, really. And thank you Uncle Cheu for you have made these girl and boy really really happy and thankful. =) |

| Betel Nut Girls |
A fellow friend Daniel went to Taiwan for holidays recently. Well you know other than the amazing array of food Taiwan offers, one native attraction that cannot be missed is the array of girls selling betel nuts, 'Binlang Xi Shi' as they are called.
I know this issue is pretty overrated and pretty outdated even, but I cannot help it, it's just too interesting to begin with!! XD
I don't know who started the craze of putting scantily clad girls as salesperson of the betel nuts but heck it was pretty genius of them actually, especially when dirty old men are of existence (not you Daniel, not you =P)
 Betel Nuts. Don't know how they taste though.  to lure men with a weakness for legs...  to lure desperate men who do not have an internet access...

Just now I had dinner at a restaurant my family always visit. However, this time things were weird. I had this chilly feeling that people at the neighboring table kept on looking at me, as I walked past to go to the loo and so on. I have NO idea why. My sister and mother also noticed this weird trend. Then my mom concluded the reason being my ass was prominent.

Thank you Winnie for letting me unleash my "mou liu-ness" onto your blog again after my "New Year Thanks" post.
Let the invasion of Lyon's paragraphing begin!!
In the age of internet, which have ushered in such chat programs such as MIRC (the beginning), ICQ (the booster) and finally MSN (finished product). I'm sure there are many many more out there, but we shall call these the main 3.
With such chat programs came more acronyms, more short forms such as "cr8", "brb", "gtg", "l8r", the unpopular (maybe cos i deemed myself to have created it) "^2u [up to you]" and the most popular and often overused "LOL" which has transcended into real life pooping up...i mean...popping up in everyday conversation. LOL.
And so in this technological era, an important component oft forgotten with all these acronyms and emoticons (ZMS trying to make it into the mobile world? forget it celcom), is simple laughter and the different meanings it can take on in the cyber world.
Don't believe me? Try laughing/saying these different types of "laugh letters" out loud. you might just LOL.
HAHAHA sounds genuine
HEHEHE sounds like snickering type laughter
HIHIHI sounds rather maniacal
HOHOHO sounds rather sarcastic
HUHUHU plains sounds retarded.
and in my campaign to turn Y into a vowel someday, I had to include

| See You in 26 Days Darling |
Darling Lyon has just reached Miri's shore. Had just barely spent 2 weeks time with him, time is so cruel!!!!! Sigh...
My parents brought us to Secret Recipe for a little light snack before heading to the airport.
 Dad's Double Delight.  My HiFibre Cheesecake. Haha! I'm a health freak.  Lyon's Gourmet Pie. Then itt was time to say goodbye.
 I love you darling. Will see you in 26 days okay? =) Muah! After we dropped Lyon at the airport, the rain was pouring, I wonder whether they were representing me somehow, how I felt inside but did not show my emotions out. I went home, then got out again for dinner at the Lake Club.
 rain water washing the world.. In the Buttery @ Lake Club, my siblings and I shared a table while my parents dated at the other table. Lol. It was refreshing because we shared tales and stories like very good friends. Haha!

| Genting Day 1 |
At around 10.30am on a very fair 15th January 2008, we left from One Utama and off to Genting using Genting Express!
 And we got the $38 introductory offer which includes a bus ride to Genting, unlimited pass to all parks/buffet lunch at coffee terrace and a bus ride back. The offer is only for a day trip, however even we forfeited the bus ride back to OU, it was worth it!

 *smiles We arrived after an hour later! My first instinct was Genting was not cold AT ALL!!! I think we have been trained by the Canberra winter. Just glad that humidity in Kuala Lumpur is of non-existence.
 They're so happy. ^^
 Eu Gene swallowed a fly in that shot. nah, just kidding. =) And yes, because there were 3 future actuaries and 1 economist, we stayed at First World. Hehe! We were always out to look for great deals. =)

Lunch @ this place called Hainan Kitchen. We chose there because of The Almighty Voucher of Eu Gene. Wow. So Godlike man the name. =P Anyway, keep you in suspense on how it looks like. Descriptions first. We get to have 30% off the total receipt at selected restaurants in Genting, making our meals just like normal KL rates! well kinda...


 Gui Leng Gou  My porridge with side dishes Sweet and Sour Vegetables, Pickled Vegetables and Soya Pork. Yummy!  =) Satisfying face. OK OK! NOW the mouliu-ness begins.

After redeeming our all park pass, our first ride was Rio Float!

Which the guys did not qualify because they were over 75kg!

Kay, the one thrill ride I did not dare to come close is the Space Shot. I'm so not an adrenaline junkie. Coward if you must say. I am. *I'm hearing Chicken noises*
But on one special occasion in 2004, I gathered every courage and sat the Space Shot. Ended up crying of joy and amaze. haha. Maybe next time dears, when I'm less conscious. =)

 All fresh and smell good.  Restaurant Good Friends. So nice right the name and decor...  A bit blur but I likey.  Sweet Sweet couple...   Kai Lan  3 types of meat. Roasted Pork, BBQ Pork and Chicken!  Chicken and Cashewnuts.  Beancurd!  Nice ceiling with chopsticks. haha!  Good friends! =) The meal came out to be only $16 per person thanks to The Almighty Voucher of Eu Gene! All hail the voucher! After the meal, we had a little sight seeing session.
 S & M Shopping centre. WAkkakakakakkakakkakakaa!!!! The boss must be madness.  At Highland hotel...   Eu Gene went to check the Karaoke rates. We posed!  Preparing for CNY...   So shweet...^^ We had a little card-cum-supper session afterwards...
 Haha! Half of the shots we took. So embarassing yet funny!!!!  Tai Di.  Haha! Amanda pushed Lyon off the bed. Well that's it for Day 1. Sorry a bit brief lah. Cannot really fit and describe everything. Haha!

| The Not-So-Almighty King Show |
I just came back from a movie date with Lyon. Wanted to watch Game Plan, which would have been good for my headache, but there weren't any seats. So we chose to watch In the Name of The King: A Dungeon Siege Tale instead.
 I somehow had this faint memory that I have watched this show before, a dejavu feeling creeped out here and there. Maybe it was because it seemed as though it was a parody or sorts. Or maybe worse than a parody because they accidentally made the film laughable!
The director Uwe Boll, no offense, he must have been a bit koo koo =.=. First part looked really promising, due to the sudden deaths of certain main characters, then it became a sad parody of LOTR with very little direction. Battle scenes were draggy and repeated! Shite!
Muahahahaha. Sorry Uwe. But Wakakakaka! Certain scenes were killing Lyon. I was also laughing my juices off. Did NOT know what to think or how to react really.
The only part I was thankful of is the fact that although we were very full from dinner (thanks mummy ^^), we still bought popcorn because that was the only thing that was fulfilling.
Oh well, hopefully future movies I'm going to watch won't suck that much. till next time...

| Food Junkie |
Lemme introduce to you the heavenly scrumptous gastronomic miracle that is
Foong Foong Restaurant's Yong Tau Foo
 I slept at 2am but dragged myself out of my bed at 8.30am just to finally rekindle my other love after a one year hiatus. I slept through the journey to Ampang (where it is located), woke up just in time to taste and smell the amazing aroma oozing out from every bite.

 *sleepy but hungry.  You dip the yongtaufoos in this sauce.  ''Shui Gao'' This is to die for. My record was to eat 15 of those at one time. I'm so proud of myself. ^^

Yong Tau Foo. The restaurant has been operating for generations, since my mom was a child and she had to pay only 25cents per piece. Today the price is 70cents per piece. Wow right? =)
After the meal, I slept in the car all the way back home again, then a massive headache struck (again). I think it is due to fatigue/lack of sleep and too much activities going on. Sigh. Should socialize less but what can I do? I ONLY have less than 4 months in Malaysia. Real dilemma.
Tea Time I had the famous pisang goreng (Mark corrected me when I say goreng pisang. SPM Bahasa Malaysia. Tsk Tsk)

For all of you (noob) Taman Tun-ers who have not had a taste at this addictive snack, first, shame on you, second, pick your butt up and drive to the Pasaraya Taman Tun there before 7pm everyday. The stall is just right opposite.
Tomorrow Lyon will be leaving Kuala Lumpur and I won't be seeing him till next month. T.T Going to have a little pak tou-ing at night since in the afternoon I was nurturing the stupid STUPID headache.
Genting pictures! Will slowly post them up. I took 400 plus pictures in 3 days you know? It takes effort to sort them through and add them. So be patient. =)

| Of Petaling Street and Old Friends |
On the 14th of January 2008, my mom drove me and Lyon to the city to run some errants, and at the same time, headed to Petaling Street to feast on the very original and authentic local fare.
This Petaling Street post is specially for Kevin Kim. For you to witness Malaysian markets. Haha!
 ahh..the food I've eaten is clearly evident in my (fat) face. =) 
  The market filled with fake branded goods. LOL. Not necessarily a bad thing.

Haha. I love gatherings. We exchanged thoughts, stories, phone numbers and memories. Sadly though, while I was in Genting yesterday, I missed 5 Keledang's gathering. Sigh. =(

| Genting!!!! |
I broke my own spell of updating everyday!! Lol.
Yesterday was a pretty hectic day, from morning till midnight. Went to Petaling Street (finally!!) then had a stupid tension headache, watched Lust/Caution and had a 6I gathering @ The Apartment at night! Super! Therefore, I did not have time to update/upload beautiful pictures. If you cannot wait to check out my pictures though, (haha, so thick skinly ask you), facebook me!
Will be on hiatus for three amazing days because I am going on a 'double date' to Genting for 3 days! The other couple who will be joining me and Lyon is Amanda and Eu Gene!!! I know, busy busy! I love moving around!! Haha! =P
Will be back on the 17th January, with souvenir that is priceless pictures for you to enjoy. =)

12th January 2008 seemed, to me, the most long and eventful day so far. My day started on the wrong footing though. I had a nightmare, nothing I would like to share, so woke up feeling groggy, like some weight was pressing against my head.
I ate little breakfast, then at 12pm, I was ready to face the biggest challenge in my driving 'career' thus far...
Driving to Kuala Lumpur city!
I was soooo nervous yet excited! Endowed with directions from my dad and with the help of a 500-page map, we were off!
 this time it was Lyon's turn to self pose!  Trying to be yeng but inside panic like shit. Everything was okay, I drove all the way till Jalan Mahameru, passed through PWTC and Jalan Tun Razak. The directions that my dad gave me required me to pass through the KLCC, however my map nagivator Lyon told me to turn into a direction, which was wrong!
We ended up being in the KLCC carpark you know!!!
I was swearing out of fright and worry because this was indeed my first time driving so far, on my own. To get out of the KLCC carpark, we had to pay RM$4 for NOTHING!!! Money sucking. No 15 minutes allowance AT ALL. Sigh.
We got out Jalan Ampang, then was supposed to make a right turn and it would lead me straight to Equatorial, where the Pre Departure Briefing was held. As usual, I missed.
Panic kao kao! Called my dad for directions again, while trying to stay calm (like that's possible).
Got even more frustrated when I found out I was driving out of KL! The worst was I got nearly banged by two cars because one Idiot Black Merz was bullying me on the road. Ish.
Anyway, so I had to turn back to the exact spot, and make sure I did not make the same mistake. I reached Equatorial at 1pm feeling so numb by the physical pain from hitting the accelerator. Lol. AND! Also by the mental stress in the head since I started the journey.
Phew. I took a long sighhhhh...
To release some tension, I suggested Lyon and I to go to the Korean BBQ restaurant at the Life Centre two blocks away from the hotel. The décor is pretty impressive I suppose.
 We ordered Bibimbab set.
 side dishes...  Half way towards mixing my rice, I realised I did not take a photo! Dang, to me it's a crime lah! HAVEEEE to take one photo. So I apologise if it looks yucky to you. =)
 Fruits and Ginger drink. After that, it was off to duty!
It was really good to meet everyone in KL, especially those who traveled from afar, such as Penang and Johor. Semangat betul!

After the dinner, Yeam had to leave because he was flying off to China today. So the rest of us proceeded to Afiq and my car. We went to pick up Wei Ling and Sher Reen's friends who accompanied them in this trip, then, we drove all the way to Kayu @ Tesco!
 Haha Zam was called to join us too! At 11pm, Lyon and I had to say our goodbyes because we were rushing for another event. ......................................................................................................................................................................... PACK THE FLOOR FOR 24!!!!!!!!!!
I reached home about 11.30pm, took a quick bath, packed then my parents fetched us to the Security Commision Kuala Lumpur, where the event was held. Pictures courtesy of Lyon's phone camera. I did not bring my camera for security reasons. Therefore, there weren't many picture taking from/of me because I was too busy dancing. I did not even take any pictures with some old friends sia! So unusual of me. Haha!The event was supposedly from 7pm on the 12th to 7pm on the 13th, however since I was tied with the pre departure above, I only made it at 12am midnight. Lol. Which is fine because I've arranged prior to the event. Sadly though, I've missed a chance to meet Kenny Sia, Urban Groove i.e my lengchai ex-instructor Fellest (he taught the Taylor's Dance Classes in 2006) and also witness Hannah Tan sing! So jealous. However, as I walked inside the hall filled with approximately 300 people, the KL Stompers were already having a sort of battling stage. After like, what 45 seconds I came into the hall, the leader of the pack called up: ''The girls in the white shirt and red shirt please come up to the stage.'' Ellen and I were like: ''Huh? Us?'' I haven't even warmed up yet lah! I thought.  Us being a bit confused. Lol! We were supposed to do a routine and all.  haha! chit chatting session only...  Their performance! Brilliant! After the workshop, the dancefloor was open. And it was TIME to loosen up and get high!!!!
 =D  sweatyyy...  Them doing a Chris Brown video scene. Lol.  Most people opted to go back to the comfort of their homes after the dancefloor was temporarily stopped for supper. The others, like us, we hung on.  The cafeteria area...  You leave your belongings here...  our 'supper' at 2am plus I think. LOL! and yes, we HAVE to try to stay awake or else the Moralers will do so.  shit lah, since morning I'm busy. Lemme SLEEPP!!!!!   Ki Jun's Messcafe. Wakaka! Around 3am plus, we moved to the front area where couches are available and took some cat naps. I woke up then we headed to the hall again where the Cha Cha workshop was conducted. So yes, I learned some basic steps. woohoo!
 Yung with a pose! You rock la!  Ellen and Ki Jun being worn out. haha!  Cha Cha Demo...  Rumba Demo... Very fluid and nice. Love her body. So fit! I think around 5.30am plus, games were held to boost the morale of the dancers.
 Impression Game. So farnee! And I met my old friend, Angel from Puay Chai! She was competing on stage! Haha! Around 6.30am plus, TaiChi workshop was conducted. To be honest, I felt sleepy at first, but then I feel energized after all that stretching and slow movements get to you.
 warm up...  We struck a pose! Overall, we youngsters really lost to the Old but Wise Sifu in terms of fitness and strength. LOL!
Capoiera!!! So tiring though. I gave up half way. Haha!
   so cool~!  The SiFu! Bollywood Workshop! The instructor then picked me to go on stage to compete. Haha! It was fun and Angel was the other girl picked!
 Me in the white/light pink shirt.  The winners were the both of us and we won RM20.00 Souled Out vouchers! yay!  Tiredness. Around 10am however, I have this massive stomach ache/cramps/before menstrual pains which led me to frequent the toilet. Lol. And it was not going to end (it still did not end until 10pm just now).
I concluded that I overworked my body too much, and lack of sleep as the factors of this phenomena so had to opt out of the dance challenge. I called my mom to pick me and Lyon up at around 12pm wherelse my enthusiastic sister stayed on to finish the challenge.
I wanted to go back to the event if ever my pain had subsided, but I ended up sleeping for 4 hours! And still the pain had not gone away.
So overall, I have only pack the floor for 12 really.
It's all for a good cause nevertheless.
And I'm happy that I was present to make a difference. =)

| Back in Busyland. |
Hey people! I'm back in KL! woohoo~!
After finished blogging about day 5 of Miri, Lyon and I went to change to our (nice) sporting clothes, Lyon spotted a basketball look whilst I had a dancing look, but we did neither.
Instead, we were going to a badminton session in the afternoon! I think I needed this workout badly since I did not exercise much in Miri. Haha!
Yes yes, I'm an exercise freakkk!
Wil Liam offered to fetch us from my house to the Taman Megah Badminton Courts. Also present was Norman, Amanda, Michelle, Aik Sern and Aik Oui. =)

 Look at Amanda go! =D  Me trying to catch a shuttlecock. Lol. We spent 2 hours in the courts and it was a well spent badminton session I would say. I've burned the Sarawakian Mee I ate yesterday. Haha! =D
 trying to ignore the camera... lol... DINNER!
 yummm... After dinner, I drove to Mosin to have a mamak session with Boon Kin for our supposedly M2 gathering...
It was always fun to meet up and share tales about university life and all. Brings back lots of memories. =P

Tomorrow will be helping to conduct the ANU pre departure session, then at night it is PACK THE FLOOR FOR 24!! woohoo! Dancing for 24 hours straight!

| Day 5 of Miri! |
We woke up at approximately 10am and decided to have brunch at 2020 cafe. Since today was a public holiday, Auntie has gone off to breakfast with her friends, but poor Uncle still have to work at the clinic for half a day.
 Kusut masai...  Dim sum! Very yummy! 
 Kan mian i.e Sarawak Mee. Brunch ended pretty early, around 11.30am so Lyon drove me around Miri for some last sightseeing.

 We wondered if it would be too inappropriate to not visit Clinton's dad. We decided to try again one more time. Fortunately for us, Uncle BC and Auntie Tan are both in the shop. We chatted about the future, watched some nice Youtube videos and Auntie served the most delicious friend seaweed! She said it was homemade. Yumm!
 Lyon, me, Aunty Tan, Uncle BC at their shop World of Feng Shui We said our goodbyes and then Lyon brought me to this place called Kokoberry to tempt me. Lol. He knew I had a weak spot.

 Bintang Plaza. It was 3pm and Lyon decided we visit the Miri CityFan now.



I did not explore the place much because it was blazing hot! And I was wearing heat absorbent pants. It just wasn't right. LOL! But I did take some nice pictures...=)

 We went back home to do some last minute packing. Then I found these portraits against the wall. When I was with the Cheu family and the Pang family in London, we met street artistes and they painted these for us!

We looked alike. LOL! After lack of exercise for 5 days, I suggested we went to gym at 4pm plus. So we went to Piasau Boat Club to do just that...
 This bridge is made of wood!! So cool lah!  Tree Ambush.  I would like to come back here one day to swim. Teehee!

 This mouliu Lyon took a picture of me sweating my fats out. LOL. All and all, I've lost 300 calories! Which is equilavent to a half a meal for me. Haha! We left the place at around 5pm to pick up Auntie Selina from home, then headed to another golf club, Eastwood Valley.



 We really had a grand entrance. Lol.

 Like the ancient times like that right? Lol. 

 Driving range cafe..  Caught off guard!  Driving range with the sunset. Not so nice on camera. We left around 6pm plus to go someplace else for dinner. But before I left, I took these.
I don't know what mode I use. This looks like the end of the world kinda scene. =S Frightening.
 Ahh, this one looks better. =) Dinner was at this place called Kedai Thian Ho. Auntie has gone to play tennis with Sadie.

 KangKung  Spring Chicken..  Uncle Cheu and me.  Father and son. After that spendid dinner, we went home to do some last minute packing, checking whether belongings were already packed up then left their house at 8.20pm. Arrived at Miri airport around 8.40pm where we parted ways with Uncle and Auntie Cheu.
 Miri Airport  so cute! Free Smells!  <3>  While waiting to board, Lyon decided to log on to the internet... On board,
 our meals... After reading a bunch of magazines and listening to overplayed music on my Shuffle, we arrived safely at LCCT around 12am midnight. While waiting for my parents to pick me up, I've discovered an AMAZING phenomena. Lyon's phone has WIFI compatabilities. I even logged in to this blog to write on the chatbox! Don't believe? Well, let me prove you wrong...
 Ta-da! The first thing I surf was Facebook. Muahaha! Almighty phone! We finally arrived home feeling exhausted.
Overall, Miri was a good holiday to relax and unwind. Good food and good company made it all better. Thank you very much to

| Day 4 of Miri! |
| Was supposed to go breakfast with some of Lyon's friends at 10am, but didn't wake up in time. LOL. So too bad.
We woke up and the rain was pouring. We left the house by 1pm plus and we headed to this place called Double Star, which is located next to Uncle Cheu's clinic.

 Me being =.=  Baked Rice with Mushroom Sauce and Cheese  Pork Ribs with Yam Rice.  Muahaha! Once again, I tamak then finished my meal faster. After that, we went to shopping malls again. Haha. No trying on clothes this time so rest assured for you. Phew.
 Decor @ Boulevard.  Clinton's dad shop! Too bad he wasn't around when we wanted to visit him. Anyway, support! After that, it was time to go to the beach!
 Teatime snacks. Hehe.  Oh mighty banana.  Open your mouth. *Aaaa...  Lyon's High School!   Lyon's favourite lepak places. WE'RE HERE WE'RE HERE!!!
  Esplanade.  Infoplease: I love beaches!! Want to have my honeymoon at one. Any will do. Such as Langkawi, Bora Bora (is top choice) , Maldives, Hawaii etc... *dreaming* hehe!  People must be thinking I so crazy, wore sunnies at 5pm. Glaring lah!!!   Haha! Jumpshots!
 Cheer!  I'm floating!   Introducing Lumix Camera...  Little Hermit Crab...    Haha this time I jumped from the water! So fun!!!  Emo shot...  Sport's Illustrated. LOL!    Haha! We arrived at Piasau Boat Club. There were alot of Ang Moh people there. According to Lyon, most of them work for Shell and this is their favourite hang out spot...

| Day 3 of Miri! |
(Warning. This post is not for the faint hearted and groggy people)
The night before, Lyon and I watched Enchanted (though I have already watched it before, I still thought the movie was so sweet! ^^) and off to bed at 1am. Manatau, some stupid mosquito bites can wake me up at around 3.30am. I slept off again then another new batch of nasty bites forced me to get out of bed at 5am. Lol.
I woke Lyon up asking him whether we could go watch the sunrise, since it was one of the few things we plan to do. He agreed.
Little fact: I always love and prefer sunrise than sunset. Because sunrise, to me symbolizes a new beginning, to start anew, given the rough night before. Sunrise gives a new light, a new path to follow and a new hope. However my preference meant that I have to wake up at the wee hours of the morning, which is oh so troublesome for us kids. But thank goodness Lyon was understanding. Thanks babe. =)
At around 5.25am off we went to the Canada hill of Miri. Since the Miri beaches faces the west, so we had to drive up the hill instead. Funny story how Lyon discovered this fact, but we'll leave that for another day.
 *yawns
 Lyon needs no beauty sleep man. He looks the same. We first stopped by at the carpark of the Petrosains museum for a bird's eye view of Miri. And boy it was spectacular. Tried to capture the same essence on the camera but failed miserably.

Around 6.30am, we drove down to Canada hill, a spot where the sunrise would be visible according to Lyon.

Then out of the blue, I lied down and poof! I was asleep. Lol. So the shots below were taken by Lyon in the car...while waiting for me to wake up. This morning the hill was pretty foggy overall, and the clouds were aplenty, so had to wait a little longer for the clouds to clear up.




I woke up after 10 minutes later, at around 7am only to witness the big one...
Speechlessly beautiful.
I prefer the one Lyon took 2 years ago. the RED hot sunrise...
 so heartwarming. Nevertheless, it was an experience to be cherished. =)

Since we were already up from bed, might as well have a (very) early breakfast. So Lyon brought me to this Lutong Cafe, where Mirians claim it has the best porridge. Kewl...

After that, it was a drive back home then we decided to continue sleeping till God knows when. Lol. The irony though is that I went all the way up to the hill, but the best picture of the day (so far) came right from Lyon's car porch...

I woke up at 1pm! Haha! coincidentally it was lunch time. Lyon recommended us to have Sugarbun, the ''East Malaysia'' fast food according to him.

Dinner time. Lyon organized a dinner at Soon Hock Restaurant. 
in the car... His Mirian peeps like Dunstan, Joanne, Daniel, Luzio, Peng Wei and Patrick came along. Sorry guys pictures of food are not available, because I shy mar, meeting Lyon's friends, so don't want to let them feel imposed or something. LOL! It was really nice to meet up with them, listening to their local tales etc. After that, Dunstan, Patrick, Daniel, Lyon and I decided to play mahjong at Dunstan's. But what 'party' would be complete without some 'cooling' beverages. =D
 Bought coke from this place. As in coca cola. For the whiskey. =D Grand palace. Just took a pic 'cuz we went there to pee. =)
The toilets were nice though. We first picked up Daniel from his house then headed to Dunstan's. Since there was no ice, means no alcohol. Ah well...
My Shitty card.I did not win a single game at ALL I tell you! Dang. This is embarassing because I was born out of a family who operates gambling dens. Haha. Just kidding. We're just good at playing these games. But Lyon won. Guess I was his lucky charm. =D That's it for day 3. till next time... |

| Day 2 of Miri! |
Today it's all about getting down to business.
Slept from 12am until 10.30am!! Dang. Was so tired because I lack one days sleep when in KL. T.T
We got ready, then off we headed to Uncle Cheu's clinic first. For I have to be diagnosed for my soar throat and all. Plus, had to print out some stuff for the flight tickets back to Sydney/Canberra!
 I've gained chubbiness on my face in one day! Must be the oh so good dinner yesterday...  And we arrived at Uncle Cheu's Clinic...
 At first I thought he was just going to give me some tablets for my soar throat and all, then he asked me whether I want to take an Influenza vaccination. I was like...:''Err, can also.'' LOL. And yeah, the second time I visit his clinic, I get my second jab. It was stingy at first but the sting wore off.
 heheh. I'm a big girl now, no biggie. =D  Me and Lyon. We looked like small kids!!!! T.T Had lunch at this place called 2020. Pretty good food. I ordered Chap Fan. Also joining me was Lyon, Uncle Cheu, Yee Ping's mom and sister. =)
  Kacang Ma! I did not know what it was at first, then after tasting it, I realised that I always eat this when I was younger! Cheh! I love this dish!!!
  After that, we went to collect our flight tickets from Brunei Airlines. So glad that that's done! Now for relaxation, shopping time! Bought some DVDs for RM6 each. Yes yes, illegal ones. But here, they sell those DVDs as if they were real. Plus, there was this red coloured shop in Bintang Plaza selling fake DVDs. The freakish thing about the place is that they had a raise platform in the entrance. @.@ Such a waste of concrete! I wanted to get some nice tops to wear for the future dinners I am going to have. Hehe! However, I'm so turned off by the price of clothes in Malaysia generally. In AussieLand, Aud2-5 (RM6-15) for a top!!!!! However, I did model (for myself). =D  RM109.90! Would you have bought this??  I MIGHT go back and get this top. What do you think? =)  Yes yes, flaunting!   Quite cool right?  and this pink top too! Amanda would appreciate this. =) End result, I bought neither. BUT got myself a bargain when I bought two shorts for RM6.90. I know I'm a cheapskate. But cheapskate's good sometimes. =)
Now it was off to groceries shopping for dinner. Aunty Selina planned to make Yong Tau Foo.
  I could not resist a Nelson's corn-in-the-cup.  Vege World! We headed back to Lyon's place around 4.15pm and watched American Pie: Beta House! Like any other American Pie, filled with booze and girls, this show is stupid, yet soooo interesting. For the guys most of the time. ;P
Auntie came back home from her golf session and it was time to cook!
 Lyon's grandma planted a coconut tree at their place and here is the finished piece. So nice man!  Aunty Selina and me stuffing fish paste into veggie. =)  Dinner was pretty good too! I attacked most of the yong tau foos hehe! For desserts, we had mangoes.  Not just any mango, the tree in their house bore them! Day 2 was pretty relaxed so I could upload all these nice pictures almost instantly! Not sure what I am going to do for the rest of the night though. Might just go for a night walk or something. And don't worry. It's safer to do so than in KL. hehe till next time...

| Day 1 of Miri! |
Simple summary. Woke up at 5am, left house at 5.45am, reached LCCT around 6.25am, boarded the plane at 6.55am, plane left LCCT at 7.25am and reached Miri Airport around 9.40am.
Phew.
Lyon was already waiting there. First glance, I thought: ''His hair was too messy and the glasses made him look oldd..'' Haha! Nevertheless, after one month of absence, we were glad to be in each other's arms again. ^^
 The cutzie muffins Veron made. =) thanks dear!  giving Lyon's phone a run for its money...  At around 1pm, after I've uploaded some of my pictures and unpacked, we went out for lunch...

ooo, those steady hand...

We decided to have our lunch at this snazzy looking place called 9to5.

Pretty impressive deco, loved the fact that it is air conditioned because Miri was blazing hot todayy! Food standard did not work for me though...

 Their special, Honey Chicken and Rice is pretty reasonable...  I like this one. Ginseng Soup...  Top it all off with a hint of warm lemon tea. The ones they gave us contained no sugar, but I did not bother adding anyway. =D Rating? 5 out of 10. 1 point for showing the show 'A Model Life with Petra Nemcova' which I likey. =)  my poor attempt at modeling. haha! After lunch, we hang kai at one of the 3 shopping malls in Miri, called Bintang Plaza. At half way point, figured we were just too exhausted, so went back home to relax for a while.
At 4pm, came out of the house again to meet up with Alex and Daniel at Desserts!
 Desserts looked very tempting, however to nurse a soar throat, I initially chose to nibble on basics.

 Daniel unintentionally posed! Muahaha!  homemade Ice Cream...yumm...  Lyon ordered triple scoop of Durian, Kalamansi, and my White Choc Brownies. I KNOW my choice is illegal for my health, however I cannot help it lah! See the words White Choc then tukar hati already. Haha!
We chit chatted until around 5pm. Then we parted ways. Goodbye Alex! Have a safe trip back to Canberra tomorrow yeahh? =P
 Daniel, Alex, me, and Lyon Back on the road, what to do?
Boyfriend concentrating on the road, so I concentrate on posing la! Haha!
 =P For dinner, the Cheu family suggested we dine in at this place called Sea Horse, and they also invited Aunty Belinda and Veron along. Too bad Uncle Stephen was not around...
 We reached the venue around 7.20pm...and got right into it.
 Uncle choosing the seafood...  Very nice decor!!! I love these lights. I'm a child when it comes to this. ^^

 Steamed Prawns.  The best dish of the night for me: Black Pepper Lobster =DD  Ikan Panggang!   Quail Pieces  Steamed Ladyfingers, then dip into the sea of HOT sambal!  No wonder it was reviewed by national television programme! The food rox!
Last but not least,
 Ta-da! Aunty Belinda showing off her new scarf. Mom chose it. =D In all, thank you Uncle Cheu and Auntie Selina for bringing me there. =)
Really enjoyed eating until I came back bloated!

Hey people!!! Guess what, I'm in Miri, using Lyon's computer to update! Had a 7.25am flight, so had to wake up around 5am. T.T Stupid Winnie did not take good care of myself, therefore having a little soar throat. Did not sleep much last night... So I'm pretty much zombie-ish now.

So fast rightt??? =(

My plans like paintball and MSO meeting did not happen, sadly. So stuck at home most of the time.
Today's mission was to find the perfect items/pressies/necessities for certain special people (including myself =)).
 There's still some residual effect from all the tearing and what nots, but I will be recover fully soon enough, hopefully by tomorrow, before Aik Twins Pool Party.
Ironically, though the mega sale is over, there are still many more stuffs on clearance. For the ladies, RM10 for a pair of Scarlet knickers, RM15 for the laced ones for enticement purposes. Brilliant! Will stock up before I head back to AussieLand.
Went to many places (I'm not mentioning getting what or where, it's a surprise), but here are some pictures of my very short modelling stint in the Somerset Bay changing room.

 I L.O.V.E this top!  ...but those shots don't do the top/my curves justice.  In a Golf Shop, liked the perspective of the shot. I accomplished my mission and I look forward to presenting them to you (whoever you are). =)

| Emotional Gyming |
I stepped on the paddles, usually my left leg first, then my right, positioning myself properly on my seat. The blank meter contained the numbers tallying, stating clearly the distance travelled and the time taken after I gave the exercise bike a little cycle. Every step, then the numbers started to twitch. Then I took a glance at the little glass window overlooking the outside world. There I could see my reflection, coming after me. There I saw unhappiness, unfulfillment, the goldfish eyes resulted from the endless tears I've shed the day before. I saw no confidence, I only saw a fat flab cycling like there's no end.
My life has have its shares of ups and downs, emotional turmoil from various sources. But today, it was my confidence that had sunk deep into the abyss, waiting for someone or something to help give it a kick to the shore, to rescue me. But reality is, that someone or something did not appear. I have driven it away, my fault, my attempt of making things to fancy me backfired.
I hate myself. I hate I hate I hate!
I hate how I look, those sepet eyes, the awfully fat nose and lips no Prince Charming would kiss again. I hate how I dictate things, I hate how I drive loved ones away.
I stepped on the paddles with much power derived from anger. My right thigh seemed to have given up, but I pushed on.
Hypocritical, how my confidence level switches on, switches off.
I'm numb of the pain pressing my skull, numb of the ache stinging my heart.
As I reached 12KM, I cried. I cried out loud. Of physical and emotional soreness. My eyelids disappear into the sea of tears. At the back of my mind, I'm thankful there wasn't anyone in the gym except me. I would have given them a big fright of their lives.
As I cycled, the song Everybody's Someone played on my Ipod Shuffle. Irony. I thought nobody loves me for who I am, I thought that I was worthless, I was the dust and debris, I was the one cent coin nobody cares to pick up from the floor.
The other person who really loves me for I am has been driven away. What's left in this world I muttered. I cried again, harder. Pushing every paddle at the speed of 50km/h, I felt like penetrating the wall in front of me. I felt like breaking through, out of my own trap.
I need you.
As I finished my final lap of 24km, I thought to myself, what an ass I am.
This is never going to end is it, I thought. I needed a change. I needed time to reflect on the things I want, the things I really need, not a fling, but of lasting. Maybe this little space we have created can remind me how much I was wrong, how much you were wrong, how much we were wrong from the get-go. Maybe after all these tornadoes have subsided, I can finally find peace and contentment.

| Karaoke! |
Haha, it was my suggestion to go to RedBox @ Curve for a little post new year celebration. But we had lunch @ Uncle Lim's first.

 Muahaha! You are in my command. So we typical girls have to camwhore everytime we land on another terrain.

 haha, we did not pose on purpose k? We were REALLY singing. Haha!  Ean drinking his coffee. Muahaha!  Amanda's singing. woohoo~!  They choosing the stupid stupid song...  *smiles Then Aik Sern called, telling me to pick him, pick Aik Oui and his cousins, Yang and Jun Min from the RedBox reception.
  Winnie, Michelle, Aik Oui  Aik Sern, Amanda, Winnie  Aik Sern, Amanda, Me  Aik Sern, Amanda, Winnie, Michelle, Aik Oui, Jun Min  I think I'm obsessed of pouting my lips. Lol.  do the elvis baby!  Wei Wen and Yang.       The songs we sang were of plentyful genre. From Rihanna to Beauty and the Beast, to Gimme More (where me and Aik Twins danced around like goofballs dissing the song, not singing LOL). Last but not least, Ah Nu's Du Mian De Nu Hai Kan Quo Lai, our staple song of 2005! hehe. Checkout Wu Liao Nan Hai for more details on this! Ending pose =D  Then we went to play foosball and pool @ Cineleisure, and boy did I suck badly. I think I'll conclude that I suck at every existing arcade game. Lol.
 Upstairs of Cineleisure got bowling leh? I did not know until just now! It's called Pin Junction.

All and all, it was a pretty relaxing/tiring day for me. A bit lazy to describe fully. Haha! till next time!

Dear everyone!

says it all does it? =) My dad created it, and its a view of the fireworks from Villa Flora! *claps claps*
So how did I spent such a momentous night/day?
Simple. Good music, good booze, good peeps.
 Starting pose.
Han fetched me from my place at around 9.30pm. Since we knew that by then, there would be no more carparks available. So he drove to the BU 4 area there (for those staying at BU 4, yes, we're one of the few opportunists invading your neighbourhood's privacy. Curse me). And bloody hell, everybody was one step faster. Most of the 'illegal' carparks are taken. After searching for a good spot, we parked, then walked approximately 10 minutes to the Curve. woohoo!! We're HERE!!!!
Laundry was too packed. And Scarlet's cover charge was RM70!! Such a ripoff man!!
So we decided to go Mystique instead. The rest can be described through pictures.
 Adel, me, Nicky  Mystique  Darrius, me.  Hui and me.  Then after a few (really, a few =P) Chivas coke. We went up and dance to the music. Awesome!

I didn't even checked out the fireworks display. I sorta did not want to, because I find SkyFire @ Canberra would definitely top the ones in Malaysia. haha! Speaking like an Aussie wei.

Then we just continued to dance and had loads of fun fun fun!! Super high wei! High of happiness!
I left the club by 1.20am to find Ellen.
Updated! Found out I lost the right side of my hoop earrings, must have fallen off while I was dancing. But that did not dampen my spirit one bit!
After highs and lows of looking, I bumped into Amanda, Sarah and Jaslyne in front of Cineleisure!

 haha! so farnee!! taken on the road... On the way to McD's, I met See Weng! My high school pal with his gf Caroline! woohoo!

Once in McD's line, nothing to do, so it was picture time!!
 The sistas  Ellen, KiJun Mom called, and yet again we couldn't get a drink. Lol. Had to balik. And we were the poor souls stucking in the jam!!!!! ARGHH!!
 This stupid car la, parked out of nowhere. AND against traffic. fff! Nevermind, let us soothe our soul by taking more pictures!

Arrived home around 2.21am, feeling exhausted.
Chua called up, asking whether I would be interested in joining the gang for dim sum at 10.30am. I told him to not expect so much from me. LOL! And was I right! I woke up at 12.00pm. Haha!
