| My phone's smokin. |
Literally. I was playing this game on my phone while watching so you think you can dance. Then suddenly the phone went a bit cuckoo. Then shut down itself. The next thing I know, I smelt smoke on my hands. O.O
No fire, but I guess it got overheated. lols.
Interesting.
I need another phone. AGAIN. >.<
Me thinks me have bad luck with handphones. It will be either stolen, spoilt, or lost. GAHHHH. |

just bored. nothing much. bla bla bla bla.
now being all kiasu and doing busn assignment EARLY, then realized during first group meeting that I did not include GST cuz I used pre-uni/SAM accounting background. Need to do ALL OVER AGAIN.
worst part is that the transactions given looked so darn easy, but four actuary wannabes were skeptical of the simplicity of the transactions, that we were always trying to manipulate figures and think wayyy out of the box. so stupid right. HAHA. but we will get through.
busn1002 is seriously a breath of fresh air lor compared to my other subs.
risk theory is dreadful. you are given a set of data, then you are suppose to use different family distributions which is the most fitting to the data. then we learn that insurance ppl need reinsurance just so that when claims from policytakers are too big, insurance company will be protected by some insurance almighty. and have to calculate how often will that happen bla bla.
life con is way more interesting, counting premiums, although our lecturer keeps saying that people drop dead here and there. haha. that's her favourite phrase. drop dead. and about how insurance companies can get profit when some ppl die sooner cuz their benefits will be reabsorbed. we are quite sadist we actuarial people. indeed we are.
next is ctf. omggg. this is a pain lah. its like you know the syllabus but you don't. somemore got two more assignments for this sub.
so officially in my mid sem holidays, i would have 3 overlapping assignments to do. one from ctf, one busn, one risk theory. SHITE LAH. luckily we have 10 days to do after our trips to our lalaland. if not, die.

| Burnt Much? |
| Week 5. Two mid sems. Difficult tutorials. Events. Already swore that Potbelleez is the last outing until after mid sems are done with. BUSN1002 assignments. easy peasy but tedious. then Risk Theory assignment during mid sem break. Then CTF assignments. Heaps of assignments.
I need to be passive now. No longer be burnt.
Grr. why didn't I take accounting ah. then at least don't have to stress over risk theory and ctf. wasn't accounting what I always wanted to do since young, until I became ambitious and love challenging maths. sians.
Where will I go from here.
Life's questions.
I am only 20. Isn't it a bit too early to make these decisions? Maybe we aren't ready. To grow up. And even if some of us are ready, or like me who thinks she is ready to take on the world, there is no outlet to go to cuz the market just felt like crashing in this part of the decade.
Masters? Eekkkk. I don't want lah. I don't want to study anymore. Stressednya. I hate theory and I love practical work.
But but at this point in time, probably I will have to conform. Give in. Relunctantly.
Sigh. anyway end on a light note. RE. biatchy note. you know theres this girl in our life con class, omg, super kiasu man. always answer lecturer's question and like if she's wrong she will be ''ohyeah, i knew that.'', or ''yeah I thought of that actually''.
Actuarial week ended today, and as a lecturer Adam Butt (I know, he must be the butt of every joke) was giving out goodies (i.e malthesers, chips etc) to the person who was first in answering correctly, so happened she did say the right answer but clearly she wasn't the first. Then, she was like ''I got it right as well!'' So loudly somemore. Wei and my eyes seriously popped out. Seriously. OMG.
And everytime she walks into the life con class, there are heaps of pointing at her direction and gossiping from the class. Some laughs, some complains. Very funny how she is so oblivious about it. Teacher's pet okay lah. But until the point where it gets annoying that people are rolling eyes. And these body gestures are disruptive to the class cuz everyone would be concentrating on resisting to laugh, or smirk. whichever we feel like doing that day. Especially the angmohs. And Barney. I saw him rolled eyes before hahah. So farni. I swear to God. |

Okay, if I need to choose an artist I love the most atm, it's her. Everyday I switch on her music and sing her songs, until I believe my neighbour asked me to shut it. hahaha. well probably i was not considerate. sorry mate. :P
really making me to wanna perform again. i love it lah. HKSS organizing avenue of stars. MSO talenttime. both in may. want sing (especially since I already have songs in mind) but...later sure kena scolding and bitched about. cuz every year also want to be a part of it. as if i dont wanna let go like that.
i wanna sing part time next time. haha maybe cannot find job in aus, while waiting for pr to come thru, maybe i should sing in lounges to earn some pocket money. haha see lah. :)

| Rejections |
Grrr. finding a job is hard. got 3 rejections out of 10 so far. HAH. i guess what Jing and Regina said was right, get used to it and you will be fearless at the end.
Please please pleaseeeeee give me something good, if not, sigh, have to pull strings. which i hate. never ever liked to pull strings for my own things. i like to prove myself worthy and not depend on others. but if worse come to worst, i might need to shallow my principles and conscience (and egoism according to my mom hah).
Anywho, latest updates. For MASCA ACT Games, lost netball. I suck as team captain wei. suck suck suck. At least we got medals for netball *winks. Lost 1st round badminton doubles. HAHA. But was all fun lah.
Watched the watchmen yesterday. Complicated but not bad in the sense that the heroes portrayed are very human as compared to other superhero movies. And the back stories are well put. Two things I don't like though. One. Damn gory urgh. And if you know me, my weak heart cannot take gory, over-emotional, scary movies. And Watchmen's scenes don't give you a heads up, one second the hero strucks the guy, the other second bones are seen jutting out from the guy's leg or something. Yucks. No wonder I had a headache when I woke up. Second. The super long sex scene wei. Not needed. It was prolonged, fake and seriously washed out the whole zombre feel the movie possessed at first. But Lyon said it was an integral part of the comics in which the movie was based, so I guess the director HAD NO CHOICE but to include the scene. Heh.
CTF assignment is due tomorrow. Just need to touch up a bit here and there. Should be fine :)
Then BUSN1002 assignment out tmrw. Sians. The reality of uni kicks in. Saturday. Picnic Day and SKYFIRE! yay yay yay. grasspatch and camwhores reunited. THEN *drumrolls* POTBELLEEZ! Can't wait can't wait. Alot of people going. Omg. Going to be legendary. Also, Sarah is coming to town!! Woot wooott. Going to be a superb weekend. And Victor my fellow internmate is here in Canberra as well, for the Global Investment Conference thingy. Hopefully we can meet up. If not, there's always NCG rightt? :)
Last complaint. I am bugged by rashes! URGHHHHHH. Darns lah. And it's super disgusting okay. Thanks to the salonpas I have been putting. Not supposed to slap it after a heavy exercise. GRRRRRRR. Damn itchy. The whole week been so weird around people thanks to this. So sorry if I seem distant lately, cuz my mind was preoccupied with the itchiness I have to tahan. Goodness!

| Busy busy busy. but fun nevertheless. butt hamstring triceps biceps all painnn. sian man. very smart. competed in badminton without practising for a whole year! so lost lor. hahaha. but fun lah. netball was good. i love my team weeee~! and most of all, my knee is recovering very nicely, i think 90% okay already. have tested it with light running, netball and badminton. next sport = basketball. this one have to wait till end of april. then i will form a team to go ncg. hopefully. i can recover fully by then. till next time ciao! |

we woke up at 5am, took two cars to old parliament house at 6.30am for this.
 nice right nice right? but i don't have the pweety pictures with me. my camera been pms-ing lately, cannot focus, then colour was too grey. :S so waiting for mr slr to upload his pics on facebook :P  nice rightt nicee right? this one quite the random shot. but i like much. :P don't you love the fact that guys actually secretly wanna take heaps of pictures like girls,
that if the chance arises they won't mind entertaining the girls with some.
hehe.
we girls make guys wait for us while we pose endlessly for thousands of cameras being held by one poor soul, for the same shot, hoping that the probability of getting one damn good shot is in our favour.
hehe. girls. just wanna have fun. thats a fact :)
HAPPY 96th BIRTHDAY CANBERRA!!! now time to study so there will be less guilt should we decide to go for Celebrate in the Park later. byeeee!

| Control |
| is the word I need to learn these days.
My emotions are so havoc these days. urghh. I hate it. I realise too late, after I said some things, I regret saying it. urgh.
Is this the build up of stress? hormonal changes like a old lady facing PMS. I used to not care so much about these things, now little thing ticks me. I don't likeeeeeeeeee!
Need to stuff myself with happy food. Nutella. Chocolate. Been deprived of them ever since I am back. In hopes to tone up the flabs accummulated since THE injury. Probably that's why.
